Obituary of Paul Thomas Haver, Sr.

Paul Thomas Haver, Sr., was born on September 27, 1926, and took his departure from this world on July 11, 2014.
In death, he joins the love of his life, Mary Kathryn "Kitty" Haver; as well as his parents, Jesse and Edna Haver; and his brother, Jake and wife Joyce.
Left to celebrate his life are his four children; daughter, Jan Mitchell and husband Joe; son, Tommy Haver and wife Lena; son, Chris Haver and wife Deborah; and son, Bruce Haver and wife Robin. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren who he loved deeply.
Paul was a man with a sharp mind and a quick wit, who grew up in Houston. He was a career pilot, receiving his flight instruction in the Navy V-12 Unit of Mississippi College during WWII. After the Navy, he worked as a corporate pilot.
Although his family is deeply saddened by this loss, there is great joy in knowing he is finally with his beloved Kitty again.
Services for Paul will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott Street, in Houston.
