Obituary of Joan Wilson Hilton

Joan Hilton was the happiest, sweetest and most caring individual. No matter what was going on, she always had a big, warm smile that accompanied her beautifully done makeup, hair, nails and perfectly matched outfit! Joan loved every aspect of her life. She was a wonderful cook, loved gardening, sewing, square dancing, and water skiing. Joan adored every person in her family, and was always talking about her kids, grandchildren and great grand babies. Joan loved to travel and celebrate each moment God gave her.
Joan Hilton was preceded in death by her husband, Don Hilton; her mother, Lena Moreland Wilson; her father, John Randolph Wilson; and brothers, Don and Wiley Wilson.
She was born February 16, 1934, in Sweetwater, Texas.
She is survived by her three children, Vickie MacNaughton King of Houston and husband, Al King; Mike Hilton of Fort Worth and wife, Nikki Hilton; and Rikki Wilson of Pflugerville and husband, Rick Wilson. She has six grandchildren, Chris and Jessica MacNaughton, Jared Hilton and Jillian Blakeman, J.T. Loyd and Morgan Kottke, and nine great-grandchildren. Joan is also survived by her dear friend, Kelly McLeod.
A funeral service honoring the life of Joan Hilton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott Street.
Interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Andrews County Cemetery in Andrews, Texas.
