Obituary of Robert Anthony Bratton

Robert “Bobby” Bratton, age 70, born January 15, 1946 in Houston, Texas to L.A. and Louise Mushinski Bratton, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Hearne, Texas.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and nephews, Kenneth Bratton and Brian Bratton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Louise Page Bratton of Houston, Texas; children, Kim and Steve Rooks of Montgomery, Texas and Kevin and Shannon Bratton of Magnolia, Texas. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren, Lauren Bratton, Meagan McGraw and Brady Bratton; brothers, Denton Bratton and wife, Jerri of Montgomery, Texas and Gary Bratton and his wife, Brenda of Pearland, Texas; nephew, Heath Bratton and his children, Haley, Garett and Grayson Bratton of Pearland, Texas; and Godchildren, Cara Sowers and Troy McDonald as well as numerous members of the extended family.
Robert was retired from Talley Trucking and is a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Community. He was very active for many years in the parish including the RCIA program, Men’s Club, and ACTS community. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2917. He loved hunting and fishing and passed away at the deer lease that he loved so much.
A visitation with the family will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2016 followed by the Rite of Committal at Brookside Cemetery. All services will take place at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Community, 3600 Brinkman in Houston, Texas.
