Judy,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and the rest of Dimitri's family. He was always so very nice and such a gentleman when I was around him. You could see how much he loved you.
I will continue praying for you while you get through this difficult time in your life. Judy just know that Dimitri will always be with you living in your heart and he will watch over you from above. He is with our Lord and Savior now with the rest of our family in peace.

Demetri was a wonderful Step Dad, Husband, Father, a good Man and Friend. I am so glad that I was able to share some good moments recently with Demetri, we went to an NFL playoff game and also went to the opening of the Texas Senate to see the swearing in of Senators. I will remember the great times we shared with all the family talking about life, sports and politics; all shared over a wonderful dinner and great glass of wine. As a Stepdad he treated my Mother with so much respect and love that I will forever always be grateful.
Demetri will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Dimitri, we will forever miss you..... our dear friend, our understanding and devoted brother-in-law, your good-hearted soul, your never-ending sneezing ;)~ , your devotion to our sister, and yes, your political viewpoints. "Ay Dios Mío". Many times we lose appreciation of the essential qualities of those that surround us, until after they have departed from this world...... and you my dear man, are certainly one of those beautiful people.
Thank you for embracing Ricardo (my husband), and me, into your world. It meant so much to both of us. Thank you for taking Ricardo under your wings, guiding him with your wisdom, and connecting with him the way you did; he always considered you like a father. You have left us only in physical form, but I know you will forever continue to watch over Judy and all of your loved-ones. Please guide and watch-over us, from above. "Lo vamos a necesitar!" :-/

Dimitri/Papu was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved so big! I will never forget his good food, his laughter, and how he made others feel as if they were the only people in the room as he asked about your life and listened to your stories.
His love, laughter, and light will live on in his children, grandchildren, and future great grandchildren.

We are so sorry for the loss of Dmitri. He was always so jovial and welcoming to Lisa and me, and such a great cook! We always enjoyed visiting the Flanagans, especially when Papu came to town. We will miss him dearly.
