I met Shannon about 10 years ago when she decided to join the Pampered Chef family. We shared business successes and failures and even shared the experience of a national conference together. I was sad when Shannon moved away but thanks to Facebook our friendship was able to survive and we kept up with each other's lives through photos, comments and posts. I know she was a devoted mother and daughter and family was everything to her. As I followed her struggles with life and cancer, I know she fought with bravery and courage until she could fight no more. I will always remember her for her infectious smile, determination, positive outlook and her never ending love of life. I am so sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to loose your mom and best friend to ovarian cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. My you find peace in the days and years ahead through your memories and faith. My deepest sympathy.

Shannon, I will truly miss you my dear friend and coworker. We shared several life experiences that gave us a special bond. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We have a great loss but Shannon's light will always live on in our lives. Shannon and I shared some special moments especially with our desire for children which became complete in our adoptions of wonderful children, destined to be ours. I send my deepest sympathies to all of Shannon's family, especially to Kevin, Emma, her sister and parents. My time with Shannon was working in Diabetes Education at TriHealth at least 10 years ago. I was new in Diabetes Education and Shannon was so terrific to work with. She was so patient with me, and willingly taught me so much. I was so sad when she moved to Texas. She will always be remembered, what a great person to have as a team at work, the clients LOVED her!! Always smiling and she loved telling me about her children, she was so proud of Kevin and Emma!! Prayers for all of you.....

Shannon was sunny, beautiful, funny and incredibly smart. We went to school together at Lakota. Even as early as in high school, Shannon had an elegant presence. She had grace and class, never flustered. Reminded me of Audrey Hepburn.

Like so many others, we are heartbroken and our thoughts and prayers are with Shannon and with all of you. Shannon meant so much to us and made a positive difference in so many lives. She is already and will be greatly missed, but her positive influence, energy, and love will continue.
A quote that she shared reminds me of part of who she has always been.
It is: "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass ... it's about learning how to dance in the rain." (Unknown or Vivian Greene).
I was often in awe of how she could turn lemons into lenonade. The world would be a brighter place if more people followed her example.
But, for those of us who knew her, the world was a brighter and happier place.
