I suppose we all have special memories of Walt that especially bring warm and endearing thoughts to mind. As I am saddened by this loss along with his family and friends, I visualize Walt and Patrick, my husband and his friend, sitting with each other at the grandchildren’s birthday parties. Somehow these two grandfather’s ,there together, always added some special air of great importance to the event for the little ones. I will miss that but will keep in mind how precious it was to go though so many stages of life to arrive at these moments in time . I’ll cherish the image of Walt in that place in time in my heart. My deepest sympathy.
