Obituary of Steven Douglas Nicely

It is with great sadness that the family of Steven Douglas Nicely announces his passing after battling an illness, on Friday, January 12, 2018, at the age of 65 years. Steven will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 42 years, Gabriela Nicely; his children, Jessica Oncken and Christina Nicely; his sisters Jan Chambers and Evonne Hinkle; his brother Mike Johnson; his two grandchildren, Austin Oncken and Katelyn Oncken; son-in-law Gary Oncken; and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends. Steven was predeceased by his mother, Louise Mccurry; his father Lloyd (LC) Nicely; and his brother Randy Nicely.

A visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. honoring the life of Steven, on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott Street, in Houston, Texas.
