Obituary of David Elmo Bobo

David Elmo Bobo, born September 1, 1948, in Millinocket, Maine, died Friday, December 5, 2014, in Houston, Texas.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo Wilson and Isabelle Mary Bobo and brother, Bruce Allen Bobo.
He is survived by his loving wife, George Anna Bobo; children, Gene Adam Kennon and wife, Nicola Kennon of Phoenix, Arizona; Anna Kennon Stembridge and husband, Mike of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Stembridge of Houston, Texas; sisters, Patricia Ann Bobo Cristo of Houston, Texas; Donna Marie Bobo Kadanka Jones of San Antonio, Texas; nephew, Kelly Daniel Kadanka; mother-in-law, Anna Mrahunec, and broher-in-law, Rocklyn Mrahunec
David lived most of his life in Houston attending All Saints Elementary School and Reagan High School. He worked as a pipe fitter for many years until his retirement and disability ten years ago.
He was married 32 years to George Anna and together they raised two children. David was an avid fisherman and hunter and trained and loved his dogs. He was active in the Houston Obedience Training Dog Club for 30 years.
David was kind and generous to all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Joseph J. Earthman, 234 Westcott followed by a reception with the family until 8:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014 followed by a reception with the family at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell in Houston, Texas.
