Obituary of Timothy Jude Goins

Timothy Jude Goins, born January 29, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Elbert Eugene Goins Jr. and Anne M. Goins, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018, in Houston, Texas.

Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Anne M. Goins.

He is survived by son, Stephen E. Goins; father, Elbert Eugene Goins Jr.; brother, Larry P. Goins; brother, Michael E. Goins and wife, Mary M. Goins; brother, Chris J. Goins; sister, Mariana Goins; brother, Denis J. Goins; sister, Angela M. Goins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Timothy was raised in Houston, Texas. He loved and was devoted to his family and was a loyal, true and caring friend. He was an avid lover of music, being a dedicated member of St. Patrick's church choir. He loved nature and camping, and was an avid stargazer.

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018.  A Mass of Christian Burilal will follow at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018.  Both services will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran Street in Houston, Texas.
