Obituary of Francisco Jose Gascue Rios
Francisco J. Gascue, born December 26, 1927 in Caracas, Venezuela to Francisco de Paula Gascue Adrianza and Trina Margarita Rios Vale, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Houston Texas.
Francisco was preceded in death by his son, Juan Carlos Gascue in 2001.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Christine Gascue; children, Francisco Gascue (Chichiriviche, Venezuela), Pablo Gascue (Caracas, Venezuela), Joaquin Gascue & Bertha Ruiz (Caracas, Venezuela) Susana Gascue-Griot and Michel Griot (Key Biscayne, Florida), Yvonne Trujillo (Houston, Texas), Fred Gascue (San Francisco, California), Adriana de la Torre-García (Houston, Texas), Linda Gascue-Scott and Marc Scott (Houston, Texas), María Margarita (Houston, Texas), Alicia Gascue-Cantrell and John Cantrell (Houston, Texas), Angela Gascue-Duno and Luis Duno (Houston, Texas), Eva María Gascue-Fain and Matthew Fain (Austin, Texas).
Francisco is also survived by his grandchildren, Joaquin Andrés Gascue, María Valentina Gascue, Maria Elisa Gascue, Juan Carlos Gascue, Patricia Gascue-Scull and Guillermo Scull, Pedro Gascue, Juan Francisco Gascue, María Corina Gascue, Marcel Griot-Gascue, Adriana Griot-Gascue, David Alberto Trujillo-Villanueva, Francisco Adrian Gascue-de la Torre, Gabriela Ortega-Gascue, Gabriel Ortega-Gascue, Mia Ortiz-Gascue, Lola Cecilia Nicholas-Gascue, Izabella Molzan-Gascue, Ruth Molzan-Gascue, Sienna Molzan-Gascue, Sofia Molzan-Gascue, Luis Andrés Duno-Gascue and George Fain-Gascue; and his great-grandchildren Louis Gabriel García-Ortega, Isaac Gabriel García Ortega, and Guillermo Andrés Scull-Gascue.
Francisco was a businessman with a Business Administration degree from St Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. In his youth, he served in the Venezuelan Military Aviation and achieved an Officer rank, he was former Director of the Secretary of Venezuelan Transportation and Communications, and a former officer at CITGO. He was also a devout Catholic.
A viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2018, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott Street in Houston, Texas.
