Obituary of Kaitlyn Rae Kane

Kaitlyn Rae Kane was born on August 26, 1997 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Travis High School, Richmond, Texas, where she was active in ROTC.  Spending time with family was very important to her. She had a unique ability to love with all of her heart. Her beautiful blue eyes lit up when she was with her Mother/best friend with whom she had a very special bond.

She is survived by her mother, Maureen Kane; grandparents, Steve & Mary Kane; Melanie and Al Geisendorff; aunts and uncle, Eddie and his wife, Tracey Kane, and Courtney Durgin; Pam and her husband, Dan Bartot; half-sister, Megan Schafer; cousins, Whitney and Abby Durgin, and Jackson and Shayley Kane; father, James Ross Strech and his wife; her half-sister Alexis; half-brother, Cody Strech; along with a host of other relatives and friends, especially her friend, Autumn Northern.

A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, November 23rd from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott St., in Houston, Texas. 

Kaitlyn passed away on November 14, 2018. We will also have Celebration of life for our dear Kaitlyn,  date, time and location to be announced.
