Obituary of David Wayne Perry

David Wayne Perry, born August 15, 1963 in Alexandria, Louisiana to James Calvin and Mary Perry, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in Houston, Texas.

David was preceded in death by his mother and father, James Calvin and Mary Perry.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Perry, and his three loving children, Lauren, Grant and Kristin Perry, all of Houston, Texas; sister, Linda Perry Smariga and her husband, Russ Smariga; brother, Calvin Perry and his wife, Jennie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David attended and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in international marketing and was a member and officer of Theta Chi Fraternity there. He was also a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. 

Most of all David had the biggest heart and loved people, especially his kids! He loved his career, crane and heavy equipment sales, and never met a stranger!

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 6, 2018 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail in Houston, Texas.  Honored to serve as pallbearers are his son, Grant Perry, brother, Calvin Perry, his childhood friend, Nick Smith, his nephew, Trevor Smariga, and his cousin, Jay Perry.

All will be invited to a reception after mass in the St. Jude Hall of St. John Vianney.

The Rite of Committal will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas at 2:00 p.m.
