Obituary of Matthew Lynn Moore

Matthew Lynn “Matt” Moore, born September 29, 1968 in Pasadena, Texas to Allan and Rosemary Moore, died on Sunday, April 28, 2019, in Bacliff, Texas.

Matt was preceded in death by his mom, Rosemary last April and is survived by his brother Steve, Sister-in-law Kelly, nieces Stephanie, Ayla and Sloane.  Matt is also survived by his nephew, Jack and by his dad, Allan. Matt also left many loyal friends behind.

After High School, Matt was in the Marine Corps and then spent many years as a boat mechanic.  He loved working on all types of mechanical projects, loved his home, his dogs and spending time with friends.

There will not be any formal service as Matt was not observant of faith, but a “goodbye” party will be announced via Facebook when the date and location are final.

He was often in pain and didn’t get around much in the last few years, but he did have some good times and will be missed by those of us who knew him.  Take the rest of the day off, Matt.
