Obituary of Eleanor James Arnold

Eleanor Arnold, born May 17, 1921 in Bayonne, New Jersey, to Harry and May James, died on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in Houston, Texas.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her spouse of 59 years, Daniel J. Arnold, and her children Caryl, Jeffrey, and Elizabeth Alexis Arnold.

She is survived by her children: Robie, Candice, Greg an his wife, Janet, Bryan and his wife, Jane, Mary Ellyn and her husband, Rick, Richard and his wife, Maria, Leslie, and Tracy and her husband, Hugh.  Also, Eleanor had 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Eleanor was the matriarch of the OUTLAWS!!

Besides raising children, she was a member of St Cecilia’s Family Guild, worked at Wanamaker’s department store, was a River Oaks School cashier, and a caterer for St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church.

Due to current events, a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at a later date.

A private Rite of Committal for the family will be held on May 5, 2020 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

A special thanks goes to all of the helpers that took such good care of our mom.  We truly appreciated each and every one of you.
