Obituary of Aida Carolina Goloby

Aida Carolina Goloby passed on June 5, 2020.   Aida was born in Havana, Cuba on November 14, 1958. The courage of her father, Eduardo and mother, Aida Diaz brought Aida and her brother, Ed Diaz and sister, Vivian Diaz Kardow to America.

Aida was an exceptional cook and opened her home to countless family gatherings. Her desserts were renowned, and she was venturing into making preserves.

Aida was devoted to her three children: Katie Goloby McBeth, Caroline Goloby, and Mark Edward Goloby; and her grandchildren, Lizzie, Travis, Poppie and Crockett McBeth. We love you honey.

Aida's husband of 41 years, Mark, takes great solace knowing Heaven awaits a smiling soul to honor and praise The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2020.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2020.  All services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 6646 Addicks Satsuma Road, in Houston, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Children's Organ Transplant Association to benefit children living with an organ transplant, just like Aida's nephew, Gavin.
