Obituary of Cicily John

Cicily John was born in Kottayam, Kerala, India. She passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 77, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded by her parents; her elder brother, and two of her elder sisters.

She is survived by her second eldest sister; her four children; and one grandchild.

Cicily left her home in the late 1960’s for Bombay where she trained to achieve her nursing degree. After completion, she traveled to the United States and worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years until her retirement.

A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott Street, Houston, Texas 77007.

Cicily will be laid to rest at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or www.cancer.org.

She will be remembered as devoted to her faith, family, and friends.

A visitation with the family of Cicily John will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott Street in Houston, Texas.

The interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas.
