Fred was my boss in Dubai ( Dubai Petroleum Company/Conoco) for 2 years back in the late 1970's. He was one of those, 'best mentor guys', with whom I worked. He challenged me, recognized my development needs and gave me enough rope and tugged it as needed.
We never spoke after 1978 but he has always been in my thoughts. Fred, many thanks for being there in my formative years..and you remained far more than those 2 years.
My prayers to your family.
