Obituary of Fred T. Eichholtz, Jr.

Fred T Eichholtz, Jr., a retired Houston Police Officer and Harris County Deputy, age 77, of Katy, TX, went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2021.
Fred was born in Bryan, TX on October 26, 1943. He graduated high school from Jesse Jones High School, Houston, TX, in 1962.
Fred was married to Judith Ann Weaver on April 23, 1965. They were married for 55 years.
Fred served as a Houston Police Officer beginning November 8, 1965, and he retired as Lieutenant on June 21, 1991. He then went on to serve 14 years as a Deputy for the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.
Fred enjoyed watching Football, especially Texas A&M Aggies. He loved spending time with his grandkids and watching the Hummingbirds in the Spring. Fred really loved a good meal with friends and family. He was known to like a card game or two with friends in his community.
Fred is survived by his wife, Judith, his sister, Evalynn Leavens, his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Tami Eichholtz. He is survived by his daughter, Rae Nelle Belch and husband, Kirk Belch, and son, Fred T. Eichholtz, III and wife, Julie Eichholtz. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Brandon Belch, Kailey Belch, Fred T Eichholtz, IV, and Chloe Eichholtz.
Fred is preceded in death by his Father, Fred T Eichholtz, Sr, and his Mother, Mary Lee Walker.
At this time, no services will be held.
