Randy was such a good and decent person and had a way of making those around him strive to be better. I always enjoyed exchanging thoughts and ideas in line at the Kroger Starbucks. Our paths crossed at Rotary, Clear Lake Chamber, BAHEP, and walking our dogs in the neighborhood. A gentle soul taken way to soon.

Randy and I served on the CLACC board together. He was a very smart and kind person. I really enjoyed his company. He also wrote our wills, and I got to experience firsthand how compassionate he was towards his clients and detailed he was in his work. He will be missed!

I was the City Attorney of Houston for almost four years. Randy was one of my Assistant City Attorneys. He was a fine lawyer and easy to work with. He was a loyal and reliable public servant who was well-respected by his colleagues. I regret not having gotten to know him better.
