Margaret A. Arndt, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt was called home to Heaven on Friday, July 23, 2021 at her residence in Cypress, Texas at the age of 84.

Margaret, was born in Anderson, Texas on October 15, 1936, the fourth of seven children of Antone and Ernestine Sicinski.  She was fondly known as “Annie” and raised through the post-depression era when the times were lean.  Her family left Anderson, Texas at the age of 5 for her father to work in in Houston where they resided in the Heights.  Mom would walk to St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Incarnate Word Academy daily where her faith was deeply embedded into her life.  She met her husband, Gustav “Gus” E. Arndt, Jr. at Polish Home and married on June 15, 1957 and began their life together of 60 years of marriage together.

Gus and Margaret have three children, Steven is the oldest and he and his wife Renee have three children, Kristen and her husband Matt Wiebel have four children Hagen, Landon, Beckett+ and Bailey, Clayton and his wife Natalie, and Cameron.  Brian, second born, is married to Yvonne and they have three children, James, Selena and husband Barron Hanzel, and BriAnn.  Karen is married to Russell Fishbeck and they have three sons. Kevin, with son Wyatt and daughter Peyton, Keith and wife Nichole with daughter Madison and Baby Boy on the way, and Kyle with wife Victoria with sons Henry and Wade.  Margaret being born to a large family she is proceeded by numerous nieces and nephews.

In Mom’s younger years, she and Dad enjoyed dancing.  She also enjoyed sewing, baking, and volunteering at her children’s school.  She was always up for a road trip to the Coushatta where she loved her slot machines and could stay up all night.

Mom was a priceless homemaker that made our house a HOME.  She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play “their” sports and always cheering them on.

She will be forever loved and missed but we are at peace knowing that Mom is no longer in the constant pain she has endure these last few years and she is with Dad, Beckett and all her family.
