Obituary of Kimberly Ruth Leman

Kimberly Ruth Leman, born January 28, 1974 in Houston, Texas to Christopher and Mary Ann Leman, died on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Houston, Texas. 

Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Bettie Ilse, and Arthur and Eleanor Leman; sister, Samantha. 

She is survived by her parents, Christopher and Mary Ann; and brothers, Christopher Leman, Jr, and Michael Leman and his wife, Ashley.  

Kimberly was a voracious reader, articulate, and had an amazing and enormous vocabulary.  She was our own “spell check” long before it was invented and was unbeatable in Scabble.  In addition to Scrabble movie and actor trivia was another hopeless game to win when playing against her. 

However, we played it to give her great satisfaction.  

Her recall was outstanding. 

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Joseph J. Earthman, 234 Westcott Street in Houston, Texas. 

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street in Houston, Texas.
