Obituary of Edith Mary Musmanno Grasha

Edith Mary Musmanno Grasha, age 68, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 20, 2021 due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Edith was born on May 26, 1953 in Houston, Texas and was welcomed home into the Kingdom of Heaven by her father, Joseph Musmanno; her mother, Christine Musmanno, and her brother, Ricky Musmanno.

Edith worked for the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word for many years and was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

Edith is survived by children: John, Kristy, Katie and her husband, Gary; grandchildren, Ty, Jacob and his wife, Danielle, Matthew, Shaylin, Dillon, Alessa, Brenna, Konner, King and Luca; and great-grandchild, Beckett; her sisters, Franny and her husband, Rick, Michele and spouse, Shirley, Gina, Brigitte and her husband, Bobby; as well as her many nieces, nephews and all who loved and adored her.

A visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Joseph J. Earthman Generations, 234 Westcott in Houston, Texas.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street in Houston, Texas.
