"Pauline, Donnie, Jim and Derek, My heart aches for you all. Sherri was such a great friend during my early years in Houston and I am so saddened to hear of her illness and passing. Sherri was always full of joy and wanted all around her to be happy and loved. I will always cherish my memories of all the good times with Sherri and the Stewarts, at work, country-western dancing and the lake. I know that she was a most loving and dedicated mother to Derek. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My God grant you peace and comfort."

"Donnie, Pauline and family, so sorry to hear of Sherrys passing. What I remember of her is that she had a lot of energy and was, more than anything a dedicated loving mother to Derek. It was so many years ago but sounds like her life and dedication only increased and extended to others. I am sure she will be missed by many outside of the family. It is doubtful I will make the service due to my own physical limitations. However if I don't please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers at this time."
