Obituary of Lucia Chi-Wen Liu

Lucia Liu, born December 15, 1959 in Taipei, Taiwan to Ching Xi Liu and Shiao Chuan Tung Liu, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Sugar Land, Texas. 

She is survived by her mother, Shiao Chuan Tung Liu; her husband, Simon Cheng Yuan Liu; her daughters, Catherine and Rebecca Liu; and her siblings, Geoff and Corrina Liu.

Lucia grew up in Taiwan and moved to the United States to attend the University of Hawaii, where she obtained a Business Degree.  After college, she and her husband Simon got married and started a wonderful life together in Texas.  Together, they raised a beautiful family and were successful business owners. 

Lucia enjoyed gardening, loved cooking, and had a passion for travel.  She was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be deeply missed by us all and has made a great impact on so many lives. 

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 at St Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street in Houston, Texas.

The Burial will follow at Forest Park East, in Webster, Texas.  Please reach out to the immediate family for more information.
