Obituary of Julie Marie Passmore
Julie Marie Passmore, of Katy, Texas, went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 2, 2022, in Houston, Texas, shortly after being diagnosed with an extremely rare and incurable, rapidly degenerative brain disease. Julie, 35, was born on March 19, 1986 to Charlie & Joanie Supak in La Grange, Texas.
Julie is survived by her loving husband Jeff Passmore and their three sons Desmond Leonidas (5), Jonah Jerome (3), and Ezekiel David (2).
Julie is preceded in death by their first child Lucia Marie and grandparents Edwin R and Lucille Supak and Bernard Muras..
Julie is also survived by her grandmother Mary Jane Muras; parents, Charlie and Joanie Supak; three brothers, Jeremy, Justin, and Stephen Supak; father/mother-in-law, Don and Malia Passmore; and siblings-in-law, Nathan and Sarah Beth Smoter, Kenneth and Taryn Passmore, and Christopher and Jessica Passmore, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Masters in Accounting, Julie went to work as a CPA for Grant Thorton, where she met her future husband. Jeff and Julie were married on June 6, 2015.
Julie loved Jeff, her boys, and extended family dearly and always cherished every opportunity to be with them. Julie’s wonderful sense of humor and beautiful laugh filled rooms with smiles.
A visitation with the family will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary and Vigil for the Deceased at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street in Houston, Texas. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, January 6, 2022 also at St. Theresa's. A reception with the family will immediately follow the Mass.
A second Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2022 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 126 Plum Church Road in Plum, Texas. Julie will be laid to rest in the cemetery of Sts. Peter and Paul.
There will be a lunch reception at the parish hall immediately following the interment.
