Obituary of Harold James Fenn
Harold James Fenn, born December 28, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Boyd and Lydia Fenn, died January 7, 2022 in Trinity, Texas.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Lydia Fenn and his grandson Travis Fenn.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Fenn; his children, Todd Fenn and his wife, Heidi, Brad Fenn and his wife, April, Craig Hatton and his wife, Michelle, Tracy Green, and Brandon Hatton and his wife, Lisa; his grandchildren, Todd Fenn, Jr., Thomas Fenn, Destiny Astorga and her husband, Erik, James Green, Loron Green, Trinity Hatton, Shelby Hatton, Shay Canada, Blake Canada, Tyler Canada, Alexandra Diaz, and Braden Diaz; and one great-grandchild, Violet Astorga; his sisters, Pat Koteras and her husband, Gilbert, and Mary Farmer and her husband, John; and his brother, Mike Fenn and wife, Barbara
Harold proudly served his country in the Army National Guard from June 17, 1968 – February 16, 1974 Upon his discharge, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Harold was also an active Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2917.
After graduating from Jeff Davis High School, Harold moved to Schulenburg, Texas where he resided until the early 1980s and eventually moved back to Houston.
He was an avid bowler and participated in countless cookoffs and charity events. Harold spent most of his working career in oil and gas, having worked at Houston Digital Instruments for over 30 years, retiring in 2019. Harold also enjoyed relaxing most weekends in Trinity Texas.
His bright personality affected many people and he will remain in their hearts.
A visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman in Houston Texas. The Rite of Committal will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Brookside Memorial, 13747 Eastex Fwy., in Houston, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for charitable donations to be made in Harold’s honor to the Knights of Columbus (www.kofc.org), Wounded Warriors (woundedwarriorproject.org) or CDH International (cdhawarenessshop.org).
