Obituary of Martha Jo Cannon

Martha Jo Cannon passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on January 23, 2022. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and is now face to face with our Lord and Savior.  She was born in 1937 to Alta Sue (Prock) and Douglas Dean Patterson. 

Martha Jo loved family and all her family reunions. She showed dogs, loved wheeling her Jeep Rubicon, and was the best cook around. 

Martha Jo Cannon is survived by her loving husband of almost 52 years, Alan M Cannon; and 5 of her 6 children, Cynthia Jo Grimm and her husband, Kurt, Kevin David Slavens, Bradley Alan Slavens and his wife, Carmen, Larry Alan Cannon and his wife, Alicia, and Cynthia Renee Tipton; son-in-law, Dallas Jones; sister-in-law, Elaine Sawtell; brother, Jerry Patterson and his wife, Phyllis; three half-brothers; four step-brothers; one step-sister; 7 grandchildren, Jon-Alan Queen, Peyton Jones, Victoria Queen, Nick Jones, Grant Slavens, Dylan Tipton, and Derrick Slavens; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Queen, Kaycee Queen, Samantha Queen, Shawn Queen and Carson Jones.  

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Terri Yvonne Jones; and step-brothers, Chuck and Cliff Hicks.
