Obituary of Maria Luisa Ruiz Tapia (Eustolia)
Maria Luisa Ruiz Tapia was born in February 21, 1933 in Michoacan, MX. She entered the Congregation of the Missionary Carmelites of Teresa in May 5, 1953 as Postulant in Zitácuaro Michoacán. She started her novitiate in November 8, 1953 in Mexico City. In the Novitiate she received her new name as Sr. Eustolia of San Luis Gonzaga. Sr. Eustolia made her first profession of vows in November 10, 1955 in Mexico City. She started her service in the Seminary of Peru, Illinois in January 2nd, 1956 and made her Definitive Consecration on November 10, 1961 in Peru, Illinois.
She celebrated her 25th anniversary in August 9, 1980 and her 50th anniversary in June 2005. Sr. Maria Luisa gave her life to the service of God for 67 years.
Sr. Maria Luisa passed away in Thursday, May 19, 2022.

A viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Missionary Carmelites of St. Teresa, 9548 Deer Trail Dr., Houston, Texas 77038. The Rite of Committal will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston Texas.
