Obituary of Timothy David Price
Timothy David Price, born on June 21, 1975 to Patricia (Parks) Price and Linden H. Price III in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed from this life on May 25, 2022, with family and friends at his bedside. A long-time resident of Houston, Texas, Tim graduated from Mayde Creek High School in Katy, Texas and attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where he was a member of the Phi Mu Alpha fraternity.
Left to cherish his memory are Tim’s wife, Claudia, and their six children, Elise Chica, her husband Michael Chica and their daughter Sawyer, Ethan, Madeleine, Emma, Rhyann, and Declan; his parents Linden and Patricia Price; his sister Eileen Price, her husband Jonathan McDonald, and their family, Brenna, Hayden, and Austin; sisters-in-law Maritza Veliz, her husband Jose Veliz and their daughter Aria, and Mayte Sanchez, her husband John Sanchez and their children Alyssa, John, Briana and Lukas; as well as extended family and many, many dear friends. It is both a relief and a regret that Tim’s mother, Patricia, was unaware of Tim’s illness and death due to her late-stage Alzheimer’s disease.
Tim loved life. He was charismatic and garrulous, and made new friends wherever he went. Above all, he dearly loved his children, and he devoted himself to their interests and needs. He was blessed to become a grandfather for the first time last year; the short time he was able to spend with Sawyer was a highlight of his life.
We are heartbroken that we have lost Tim, and we will sorely miss his wit, his wisdom, and his bone-crunching hugs. We are grateful to the nurses and doctors at CHI St. Luke’s Health in the medical center for the care they provided to Tim during his brief illness.

A Funeral Mass for Timothy will be celebrated on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street in Houston, Texas, followed by a reception with his family and friends in the adjacent hall.
