Obituary of Faye Riehl

Please share a memory of Faye to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Regina Faye Riehl was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend with an unmatched zest for life.  After a determined battle against cancer, she passed from this world on Tuesday September 27, 2022 surrounded by love in the place she called home for the past 40 years in Chateau Woods, Texas.  She now spends her time dancing the nights away with her loving husband, William Joseph Riehl, in heaven.  She is survived by her three sons, Aaron, Adam & Andy and two granddaughters, Payeton and Harper, as well as her siblings Jerry, Tony, Gayle, Larry, Gary and Lynnae.

Born December 27th, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky, she moved to Ubly, Michigan at the age of 5.  After attending Catholic school as a child, she graduated from Ubly High School in 1971.  She soon married, moved to Detroit and started a family, giving birth to Aaron and Adam.  In 1981, she moved her family to Conroe, Texas. Shortly after she gave birth to her youngest son Andy.

She spent her life laughing, dancing and playing in the dirt in her garden, as well as putting a smile on the face of more people than anyone could count.  She had an uncanny ability to make anyone she came in contact with feel like the most important person in the world, as evidenced by the outpouring of love that the family has received since her passing.  She will be greatly missed, however she will always be smiling down on those that had the honor of knowing such a beautiful soul.

Friends and family are invited to help celebrate the life of Regina Faye Riehl with a Memorial Mass on Thursday, October 27th at 10:00 AM at STS. Simon and Jude Catholic Parish.  26777 Glen Loch Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77381.
