Obituary of James M. Reid

James M."Mike" Reid was born July 1, 1950, in Lexington Kentucky. He passed away unexpected on July 31, 2022 at the age of 72, peacefully surrounded by family in Stafford, Texas.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, William and Katherine of Kentucky; brother-in-law, Ricky of Kentucky; and daughter-in-law, Desiree of Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife Susan; sons, Michael and his wife, Gail, of Ohio, Wesley and his wife, Dalene, of Texas; grandchildren Owen, of Tennessee, Peyton and Avery of Texas; siblings, Lynda Congleton and her husband, Winkie, of Florida, Lesley Morgan of Kentucky, and Pat and his wife, JoEllen of Mississippi.

Mike was a long time employee of GTE/Verizon, retired. He enjoyed playing golf in his spare time and was an avid fan of all Kentucky (UK) sports. He enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.
