Obituary of Jeffrey Scott McBryde

Scott McBryde, born on July 5, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Arthur and Louise McBryde, died on Sunday, December 25, 2022 in Katy, Texas.

Scott McBryde was preceded in death by his father, Arthur McBryde.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy; his children, Josh McBryde and his partner, Melissa, Lauren Savoie and her husband, Joey; his grandchildren, Jaxson, Cash, Gunnar Scott Savoie; his siblings Lisa Hamlett and her husband, Craig, Michael McBryde, and Sheri McBryde; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Scott spent his free time hunting and fishing with his best friend in Port O’Connor.  Scott also enjoyed  barbecuing for his friends and family and was also a head cook for over 30 years on the Pitts and Ashes BBQ Team.  He was veteran of the US Air Force, a Master Plumber and a long-time member of HLSR. Scott had a love for all animals, especially dogs of all breeds and personalities.

He was an extremely loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed dearly.

There will be a private celebration of life held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
