To Shari's family and friends. I learned of Shari's loss just now and deeply feel it. I had the great privilege of being a fellow classmate in the English Dept. at UT, including Winedale '82. I have thought of Shari's commitment and joy for the work we did in our roles in "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead", our black box Macbeth in masques, (that was an experience), and, of course, the three Winedale plays many times. I remember in those stifling hot days of Winedale patching together costumes to the tunes of the Beachboys and the Mama's and the Papas and how much Shari wanted to be a costume designer. (I, a slow sewer, mostly wanted a new sound track.) I loved Shari and have never seen anyone's eyes sparkle quite like hers. They were remarkable as was she. I am so sorry for your loss. "It saddened me to hear of Shari's passing. I read about it in my union newsletter memorandum. I too was a Lamar High School Grad and a Local 705 Motion Picture Costumer. I remember running into Shari at Costume Rental Corp. in LA and was so pleased to see someone from home. She was a tiny girl with a big voice. Her solo's in the choralettes always won over the crowd. "It saddened me to receive my union newsletter which included the memorandum for Shari. I too was a Lamar High School grad. and Local 705 Motion Picture Costumer. I remember when I ran into Shari at Costume Rental Corp. in LA and was so pleased to see someone from home. She was a tiny little girl with such a big voice which earned her the solo's with the choralettes. She will be missed."
