Linda and Ed were both dear colleagues/friends of mine. Ed and I worked on an AIDS Helpline at the School of Public Health in the late 1980's and i got to meet his incredible wife Linda then. After graduating from SPH I was working in Thoracic Surgery when I ran into Linda on campus. We shared stories about our kids and I would always ask her how Ed was doing. She was so proud of her kids and Ed with his TB work/epidemiology skills. During COVID, Linda and i ended up in the same division together, Chief Quality Office. I will truly miss Linda and my deepest sympathies to Ed and her beloved children. You will truly be missed my dear friend.

I worked with Linda for a year in Infection Control as a Practitioner and then for over 5 years afterward in Patient Safety. In any situation, I could always count on her help, advice and leadership. Even in the toughest of situations, she was always positive and had a smile. Every time I saw her, she always greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome. I will miss her deeply, and I am thankful for all the time I spent with her, all that she taught me and for all that she did for MD Anderson and it's patients. Many times I was heading home past 5pm and she was still there working, not even close to being able to go home. I know she would want all of us to continue on to do the work that she cared so deeply for. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Linda is deeply missed at work. She was our anchor at MD Anderson. Her deep fund of knowledge and her unwavering attitude and common sense got through many headwinds and storms throughout the years. She leaves behind long lasting memories and unforgettable legacy that we will cherish for many years to come. All our prayers go out for her family, friends and colleagues. May her soul Rest In Peace.

I am deeply saddened of the news of Linda's passing. We were good friends in high school and for some time after graduation until both moving to different areas. We had reconnected on Facebook and had some nice chats. She was a wonderful person and full of fun and love. I am so sorry for the family's loss. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Her laughter was contagious!

I had the pleasure of Linda being my boss for over 7 years. She was an amazing leader and was so very knowledgeable. My favorite memory was showing up to work on my very first day, and due to an HR error, Linda and the team didn't know I was coming. Her facial expression was priceless and we would always laugh about that. I will miss learning from her and her work ethic and her putting up with my very goofy personality. I will forever remember her calling me "missy." We love and will miss you Linda!
