Obituary of Mary C. Arredondo

Mary C. Arredondo, born July 2, 1935, died peacefully the day after Christmas on December 26, 2023 in Houston, Texas.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Ernest J. Arredondo.  She is survived by her daughter Belinda Maves (Jeffrey spouse), Anita Chudik (Mark spouse), Sylvia Montelongo (Phillip spouse), Ernest Arredondo Jr., Richard Arredondo (Megan spouse), grandchildren; Andrew Montelongo (Abigail spouse), Alexandra Hinkle (Josh spouse), Stephen Arredondo (Courtney spouse), Michael Maves, Madelene Maves,  Holly Arredondo, Autumn Arredondo and great grandchildren; Violet Arredondo, Ophelia Arredondo, Willow Arredondo, and Ezra Montelongo.

A visitation with the family of Mary Arredondo will begin at 9:30 a.m., on Monday, January 8, 2024, followed by a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  All services will take place at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood Drive in Houston, Texas

A reception will immediately follow the Mass in the St. Jerome Parish Activity Center, 2749 Hollister Road, Houston, Texas 77080.  The Rite of Commital will be at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home on Sunday, January 7, after 10:00 a.m. or to the church on Monday after 9:00 a.m.
