I loved Phyllis so much. She was my neighbor at Embark and we enjoyed cat’s so much. Phyllis and would walk together and feed the feral cats. No one really but Brenda and I talked with Phyllis and we knew she was so sweet.
I often invited Phyllis into my apartment for hot chocolate and just tried to keep her talking. She loved President Trump and we talk for hours.
Yes, mental illness or just autism is horrible! I have two grandsons who are autistic and they’re starred at or laughed at constantly! It is horrible. Nowadays it’s not just young people who ARE NOT taught manners anymore, it is also ADULTS! People at the EMBARK SENIOR LIVING (now ELISON PARK) where Phyllis was living treated Phyllis so badly that they evicted her from there! I felt so sorry for Phyllis! No one recognized Phyllis had a medical problem. Just kapow… your out!
Phyllis, I will miss your kind gestures to me on my birthdays and our talks on President Trump! Oh, and I have another new kitty I named Squeaky and you’d love her! I found her the Sunday after Thanksgiving screaming for help and it took four adults two hours of running in freezing weather to catch her!
Phyllis, I will keep rescuing all the cats I can and feeding them in your Honor, My Lovely Friend! I will miss you so much!
