I love you, Uncle Joe. I’m so glad you are reunited with my dad, your brother. Y’all behave up there, and we will see you again. Until then, tell Daddy hello, give him a big hug and kiss for me, and ya’ll get reacquainted again as heavenly brothers.

Newcomb Family- I am saddened with Joe’s passing and the impact on family and friends.
Joe was inspiration to us all! My mom, Joy, and I had a special connection reflecting on history and his service to our country during the important, but unpopular Vietnam War. Joe’s pride associated with keeping the members of his team alive during his service is well deserved and an achievement experienced by few. Joe’s continued commit to serving our country at the Pentagon and with ROTC training after Vietnam is highly commendable! Joe lived a wonderful life and continued to share our country’s history through a “warrior’s eyes” and was incredibly engaging while being educational! Joe had many interests and would continually challenge us with his latest “explorations”. He was fortunate to have non-wavering support from his family! My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends for their loss!
