You ran a great race Mike....you raised a great family and loved my cousin Rosie to her very last breath! A perfect role model of what a husband and father should be. Honored to have been your friend. Rest in peace.

When I first met Mike I asked Him if He could sing..He said "No!" I insisted that He sing one of his favorite songs and He sang "You';ll Never Walk Alone" I knew then that He must be in one of my Musicals. He was wonderful in all that He sang and tried. What a voice..shy..but determined. We had some really great times singing making mistakes and trying again..always laughing at the awkward moments and wrong notes. Karaoke was another great time with good friends, good songs and just fun
I miss you my wonderful friend but I know that you are "Singing with the Angels"

Uncle Michael, thank you for always making me feel welcome in your family’s life.
I will always remember the sparkle in your eyes, your sobering practicality in all the advice I ever got from you or heard you give your girls, all three my blood sisters. I always wondered if anyone else picked up on your slightly ironic sense of humour almost like you were laughing at us at the back of your mind for letting silly things worry us.
I promise to let your legacy of living life to the fullest and always believing in good outcomes to live on in me.
One regret, I could never have gotten enough of your macaroni pie… it was the best.
Until we meet again …… Rest in peace.
Sonya

I only met Mike when my volunteer group was asked to help him with doctor appointments. God had his hands all over this. We spent a ton of time in my car going to MD Anderson and all kinds of doctor visits where we met his son in law who sat through all the visits and then took him home. Lawrence was incredible!! Mike adored him. Mike was the kindest, most God loving man I've met in years. We talked and cried and laughed a ton!! I felt like he was the brother I never had. I'm so happy that he is at peace and in the loving arms of God and not going through the living hell I watched him go through aver the last months. I'll never forget him and can still hear him saying my name and that amazing smile and eyes. What a blessing he was to me!! Very grateful for his friendship. RIP my awesome friend!!!

We sat next to each other at CIC in January 1956. We roomed in I-Block at UWI St Augustine in 1962. We were part of a Government Delegation to Barbados in 2000. And I received his final WhatsApp on April 22nd 2024. We had fun in the sun. Farewell my Brother.

Mike and I shared a desk together our first year at CIC.
I had no idea where Warrenville was. But I remember the enticing aroma of the Indian food he brought with him daily. I was blessed to be a passenger with him on our Train of Life.
To God be the glory.

Rest in Peace Mr Bharath. You were my very first boss in the working world and I enjoyed your buoyant spirit, loud mouth, jokes etc. The RSU was a great place to work when you were around. Thank you for the memories…
