May God have welcomed you into his kingdom with open arms. I remember the kindness you expressed to me as a student apprentice during my time at Commonwealth College Of Mortuary Science. I remember how You along with Mr. Lake were so tolerant of all my "professional mistakes" and my inexperience. I was so happy as to when you called me on April 5,2024, It was so comforting to hear your voice. I have nothing but good memories and daily give thought to my time with Earthman Funeral Homes. You will never be forgotten. Let us not mourn Mr. Earthman, but celebrate his legacy assisting so many families in their hour of grief. You will be missed. The Lord has blessed you and kept you. The Lord Shined his face upon and was gracious to you. The Lord lifted up his countenance upon you and granted you eternal rest. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me. Juraj Mijo Rozman.

During the time I served as President of Commonwealth College Bob and I had many opportunities to attend the same funeral events. Bob was always interested in how the College was doing and offering his help in anyway needed. Although we haven't been together for sometime , we did end up sitting next to each other a few years ago at a TFDA convention and Bob was just as interested in how the College was doing and wanting to lend his support in anyway he could. Bob was always Mr. Professional. Funeral service has lost a great supporter!

I had the honor to work with Bob at Earthman's at Hunters Creek location. He took special care in teaching me how to direct funeral services and I will always appreciate his guidance. May you rest in peace Bob.

Mr. Earthman taught me the true meaning of being a funeral director: compassion, caring, truly loving what he did in life. He made me the funeral director I am today and I will be forever thankful to him.

Bob and I were in Class VII of Leadership Houston in the late 1980’s. We became friends through that shared experience and remained close after he married Sandy and moved into Spring Valley. Once they moved to the Katy area, we didn’t interact as often but stayed in touch. Bob was one of finest gentlemen I have ever know…RIP my friend! Richard Jennings

Bob and I were friends in high school. Well everyone in the St Thomas class of 1958 could say the same thing. Bob was well liked and fun to be with. After college and the army I married and left Houston for jobs in Chicago, Manhattan and Washington DC. I came home to retire and shortly thereafter my mother died. I called Bob and he guided me thru her funeral arrangements and we caught up with each other. He was the same congenial and caring person I remembered and liked as a boy. God bless you Bob.

Bob Earthman hired me in January of 1981 to the best job I ever had working with his family to serve other Houston families through tough times. This news stirs lots of memories for me and I want to express my condolences and thanks to those in the big family he leaves behind. Godspeed Bob!
