My condolences to the family in this time of sorrow. May you find true hope for your loved one as you read Jesus' promise at John 5:28,29 which Jesus himself will deliver in the future on earth. It's comforting knowing that death was never part of God's purpose for humanity and all of the pain it has caused will be undone by means of a resurrection as Jesus has promised. Until then may Jehovah, the God of all comfort, give you the strength you need to endure.

Mark was truly a one of a kind guy who loved life and serving. His joy in living a Christian life touched so many people. He left a legacy to celebrate. I am so glad I walked some of my life with Mark with Troop 204

In loving memory of Mark Mitchell,
My first really good friend I met at Texas Tech who was introduced to me by Chris Kinzie. I had a pleasure of knowing Mark while in college and the best times I've had in college were because of Mark. He is a role model for me by his hardworking, fun, and adventurous attitude. I have been praying for the Mitchell family ever since Mark passed away. I will continue to pray and always remember Mark as my brother and best friend.
Regards, Cole Gentle

Caroline & Scott, I just came across Mark's obituary on Facebook and I am shaken to the bone. I can not even imagine the heartbreak you and Katie are enduring right now. Jon and I are so sorry for your loss and pray that God will grant you peace as time passes by. Mark was an amazing young man and certainly brought joy and fond memories to our life. Please, please, please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. So sorry we didn't attend the service. Would have definitely been there had we known. My the Lord bless you and keep you until you are reunited with Mark in heaven. ❤️

To Katie, Coach Scott and Caroline,
We only knew Mark as Katie's little brother on the sidelines of the soccer field. But even then, as we watched him at the young age of about 6 years old to 10, we could see he was an outstanding person - uncommonly kind and considerate.
May God keep you during these impossible times.
With Love - from,
Theresa, Kevin and Jessica York

Caroline and Scott,
We were so very, very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. We have many good memories of SCFL football playing and baseball playing days with Mark and Brendan as teammates. Brendan is a freshman at Tech. Brendan and Mark would pass at the Rec center after Mark finished playing basketball and Mark always made time to chat for a few minutes with Brendan to see how he was liking Tech. Our prayers and condolences to you all for your loss.
Sincerely,
The Conroys

Dearest Scott, Caroline, Katie and family. We are deeply moved by this young man, Mark Mitchell from when he was a young boy in Dunkirk, Md as a friend and schoolmate of Braden's. He was always an amazing and kind hearted young lad who was athletically competitive yet very considerate, respectful and a true friend. We all knew he would grow up to be an even greater force of Love, compassion, inspiration, dedication, devotion, willfulness, and a man of great accomplishments who exemplifies integrity, determination, and highest ethical and moral standards of life. Mark Is ALL that and more and I know you are so very proud of him as we all are to have known him and enjoy a small part of his journey in life. Our Love, prayers, support and hearts embrace is with you today and every day forward as we keep our precious memories of Mark and his big beautiful smile close in thought and heart. God comfort, Bless, strengthen and encourage you in His greater, deeper Love eternally. All our Love, Sheryl and Braden Hause, Sarah Bennett, Kyle Armstrong, Scott Cross and Jeffrey Lare.

I had the honor of having Mitchell in my 7th grade advisory at McCullough, and Kyle was able to enjoy those few years of basketball fun with him. He was always so full of life...rest in peace. You touched many lives at McCullough and the Woodlands High School.
