Obituary of Harold Osborn Arnold, Jr.

Please share a memory of Harold to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
A loving and devoted husband and father, Hal showed his children how a marriage works and how women should be treated. His faith in God was an important part of his life, and he made sure to instill this into his children's lives by taking them to church every Sunday and remaining an active part of the congregation. Hal spent the last 30 years working as a claims adjuster for Adjusters International. He was well respected and worked tirelessly to bring justice to each client with care and passion. With work taking him all over the states, he would bring his family with him during the summertime to remain close. Our childhood is filled with sunny days, whether it be in Florida, California, or Puerto Rico, we were happy to be with him. Hal was incredibly fun loving his whole life! He won the hearts of all he knew and went out if his way, even at a very young age, to make people laugh and happy. He always had time for one more joke, the one who said work hard but play harder, who never took a moment for granted and always made sure we knew he loved us. We can all imagine him and Scotty now pulling pranks and knowing that Heaven just got a little wilder. Camille and Hal were married for more than 36 years and they were best friends, lovers for life. With four children, he was proud of each one and their accomplishments. Hal graduated from Niceville High School (Niceville, FL) in 1971. He spent three years as an operation room technician with the U.S. Army, stationed in Ft. Meade, MD. He enjoyed taking walks at night, travel, spicy foods and naps. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014 at St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church, 5356 11th Street in Katy, TX. The Rite of Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery. Hal Arnold, our dad, will surely be missed and we look forward to seeing him again at the gates of heaven. As we know he will be there to greet each one of us with a stiff drink. Listing of surviving family members: Wife – Camille Arnold (Katy, TX) Son – Harold O.
