Liz: I’m sorry to hear this news. I know the last few years have been difficult and it’s hard to see the blessings when your heart is hurting. I’m grateful Dohrman is no longer suffering. You were a wonderful mate and loving Master’s servant and I know you will hear “Well done” one day, (way far away) just as Dohrman did last week. I’m grateful for the times I spent with Dohrman. He was such an interesting character with a genuine interest for all your wacky girlfriends, or at least this one. He always increased the average IQ in any room he walked into. A blessing and most interesting conversationalist always at Palm Sunday. I’m praying for you and yours. Big D was a big part of your kid’s lives in addition to and especially the girls. I know his absence will be difficult. I love you my friend. I hope you might come up the 10th of March for Ray’s Memorial and we can hug and love on you too!!!

Dohrman was such a kind soul, ever welcoming to all, rich as he counted his blessings often, and generous in his time and efforts to help those less fortunate. I know Dohrman's spirit lives on through the many, many he touched with his care and kindness. My prayers are with his family, especially dear and sweet Liz. I knew Dohrman to be a kind, intelligent and caring person. I met Dohrman on my first trip to Cali, visiting my dear friend Lizzie. He took us to see the redwoods. I remember riding in his VW van (so cool). He took us almost to the edge of a cliff. It was harrowing and I remember ducking down in terror. He never even blinked. Dohrman always had interesting details to share that made everything more fun. He clearly loved and was devoted to Lizzie, Eric and Eileen. I send my deepest condolences to his family. I am truly sorry for your loss. Losing a loved in death can be very hard, but please find comfort in Revelation 21:3,4. When soon this pain we feel will be a thing of the past.
