I want to express my condolences to the family of Bill Lawyer for your loss. I pray the family finds comfort in knowing he is now with the Lord and will live in their treasured memories. Bill was a wonderful and giving person and will be missed by his loving family and his many friends. He was one of my mentors at Southwestern Bell and he was always willing to lend his engineering/planning knowledge to help develop others. I will fondly remember our friendship and always cherish his memory. May he rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill at St. Simon and St. Jude church in the choir. Bill always had a smile and had the aura of a person that truly enjoyed life and loved being around people. My condolences to his family for you and the many people he touched. I regret I am no longer in the Houston area to be there and sing for Bill at his funeral but I will keep Bill in my prayers. I will always remember Bill as a fun loving and wonderful co-worker to be around when we were in the same department at Southwestern Bell. I remember when he came back after retirement. He told us that he had repaired and fixed up everything that needed to be done at the house and was bored - so he came back to work as a contractor. I think he would have worked there forever if the company hadn't had a limit on age which he finally reached. Rest in peace Bill. You will be fondly remembered.
