All our love to the family. We wish to express our sincere and profound condolences. Beloved Uncle Oonachan will be happy in heaven where he will be reunited with Aunty. In lieu of flowers we have made a donation to a local Food Bank in his name.

Velliappan, I call him like that because he was my late father's elder brother. He was a very kind and loving character. I was very fond of him since he loved me like his own child, one reason may be that I lost my mother at the age of two. Fond memories of my childhood days (after I lost my mother) I had spend with Velliappan and Velliamma is still alive in my memory. In my early days, I was a regular visitor to Cherthala Kunthara house to spend my vacation. We had a wonderful time there with all the family members especially Babychan chettan, Jose and Chackochan. Velliappan was generous to me.Once he gifted me Rs.100/- when I passed my BDS with first rank in 1979. It was a big amount at that time. He took me along for a family tour to visit Jose in erstwhile Madras when his (Jose) ship anchored at Madras port. I had so may fond memories of that loving character. All of us will miss him for sure.
May his soul rest in peace.
