In addition to being a great family man, Chris was a stellar lawyer and superb negotiator. My guess is right now he's in heaven negotiating with Jesus on how many "strokes" Jesus is going to give him on the front nine. Caveat Emptor, Jesus, Chris may out-negotiate you!

Chris lived across the street from me, but we interacted only a few times during street parties. Despite our limited interactions, I felt a bond with him. We are both courtroom litigators, and Chris made a point to take me aside and talk about how few people understand the difficulty and pressure involved in trying lawsuits. He had an amazing ability to connect with someone with whom he did not have any real history, but made feel like a brother in arms. I will miss him.

A wonderful tribute to Chris. I know he left footprints on the hearts of many who knew him. It is comforting to all who knew him and his wonderful family to know all his struggles are left behind, and he is peacefully resting with his God and family and friends who have entered Heaven before him.

Chris was my great friend at Athens, while in high school. We played football together before I went to private school. Chris and I had many adventures together, most of which can't be talked about on this site. Chris was the best guy in my class at school and I enjoyed every minute I spent with him. We lived not too far from each other on Tyler Street. Both of our boyhood homes are gone now. I just can't say too much about how much I thought of Chris. It makes me very glad to see he was a Christian and he now rests with the Lord. May God bless his entire family.

I am so sorry to hear the loss of Uncle Chris. He was a great man and I wish I had the time to see him more then I did when he was alive. Christmas time was so speacil when we all got together with him and enjoy life. But I understand that he is at home in heaven and not suffering anymore. He will be missed.
