Judy I am so sorry for your loss! Jim was a very good friend of mine and we met at Clinton-Sherman AFB and we both worked on B-52's during the Vietnam War and Cold War with Russia back in the 1960's
I just now found this obituary in my very old e-mail which I rarely access I am so sorry for missing this!!! Jim did come to visit me here in Ponca City, OK several years back and that was great!
I do not know for sure how to contact you. Please call me or e-mail me anytime.
God Bless You & Your Son

I am very sorry for your loss Judy, You and Jim have been great neighbors. I remember years ago Jim brought me a German music tape which I really appreciated. Thank you for the many nice years we spent as neighbors.

I was one of those guys who played guitar, wrote and recorded songs with Jimmy back in the 70's. What a great and fun guy, and family, to be around. I know he will be sorely missed by many. I also know his soul will rest in peace because of the life he led.

I got to know "Big Jim" on our trip to Tokyo. Jim paid for his Daddy's and Carrie paid for mine. He was a wonderful person. He set a good example for everyone. He will be remembered as someone to be admired and loved. His soul is at peace and his body no longer hurts. I am so sorry. love, Pam & Farrell

I am one of those who rode with Jim from the very early two thousands to 2019. In the biker world Jim was known as Dozer. My favorite Dozer story is when I and a couple of friends were out on a ghost town tour. We were in the middle of nowhere, literally. We stopped for a break when I noticed a rider way off in the distance. We who have been riding for many years together recognize riders by the way they sit the saddle. I squinted at the oncoming rider and exclaimed to my friends, "Hey, I think that's Dozer!" Sure enough it was Jim. He stopped and after hugs all around, as he knew, rode with, and camped with everyone there, I noticed the cord was showing on his back tire. The short of it was we made calls and got it taken care of. I have many road stories regarding my friend and I wish I could share all of them with you. Him coming to my rescue just north of Houston is one of them - another time maybe.
I will leave it with - Jim aka Dozer was a very special person. He was always concerned about his friends and would help out in a heartbeat to try and make their lives better. It is with great sorrow that I have to say goodbye to him.
God bless his family. A special human has passed on. My tears flow.
The picture of Dozer dozing on his motorcycle was taken in Bastrop, TX, after the horrific fire that swept through there. I have too many to share all of them. I wish I could.

Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Humble was very glad to have James in attendance over the last year. He attended our Discovery Class for new members which is a refresher on what Lutherans believe, teach and confess about the faith in Jesus Christ. He also attended worship services, Bible studies and Sunday School. He had a great desire to learn more about Jesus Christ. I was pleased to be able to minister to him during his last months as he readily received the truth of God’s Word and promises of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. We will miss him, but look forward to seeing him again in glory. Pastor Raymond Van Buskirk
