Mom. You are the most amazing person that I was blessed with in my life. I often told you that I was so grateful to God that he choose me to be your daughter. I am profoundly grateful that he choose you to be my Mother. You were the kindest, sweetest most loving Mother a daughter could hope for. Thank you for sharing your life with me and for showing me how to accept all of life's ups and downs with prayer, love, humility and forgiveness. As in one of your favorite songs, the lyrics "You're the best thing that ever happened to Me", I can barely find the words to express what you meant to me. I will now to turn to Jesus as you taught me too, and ask him for the strength to get through the rest of my life here on earth without you. I will forever wait for the day that we will be reunited again. Thank you for being the perfect Mother to me. I love you MOM.

To my beautiful first cousin. What a beautiful and loving person you always were. I last visited with you and Mary on Darling Street and we had so many laughs. Go with God now where I am sure there is a crown waiting for you.
Your cousin, Dolores Santos Shepherd

Grandma, you are my whole world. Everything you said, each response you gave was so elegant and humble. To think God picked me as your grand daughter to guide, lead, and love me is beyond what the I could ever imagine. I'm so glad I was named after you, I'm so grateful for learning from you on how to treat others, no matter the situation. My life will never be the same without you, how I miss your silent serene presence. Thank you for showing me a life of faith, hope, and heaven. Losing you has only changed my soul to help me recognize that life is short and passes by ever so quickly. Thank you for each day, each movie night, breakfast and daily dinners. IM A LUCKY GIRL! Thank you for always being proud of my accomplishments and my wonderful beautiful and gorgeous "Red" headed grandfather Ysidro. He was so smart, so professional, so business, funny, witty, and had the character like that of what I've read of St. Michael. All I ask God now is to let me dream you, let me hear your voice, and let me be the example you were throughout my life. (Who can measure up to your saintly ways)Oh Grandma, My Grandma Margaret pray to God to give me the strength to do God's will and stay strong against this world who lacks the love and power to know God, a grace you would always say, "It's a grace to know God" I remember when I read Shakespeare and you said your favorite quote about the play "Hamlet" was "brevity is the soul of wit" You were trying to tell me to be this kind of example, and this was our little "special share" together. Grandma guess what now everyone knows some of what we talked about. Please my grandma always know I will always do what I saw and heard you say to offer up everything to Jesus. Saying I'm going to miss you, your smile, laughter, and love, is an understatement. I remember you use to say St. Theresa of Avila's quote was one of your best. "There are more tears shed over answered prayers than over unanswered prayers, yay me for learning that from you. You are a true example of many saint! Now grandma I have to end my little not so little synopsis of my little words and what you meant to me, how heart broken I am in this world without you. Grandma, thank you for loving my mother and my brother so very much. You always gave us your heart and soul and that's why we have grown to love the faith, love each other and respect each other's life and love for God and his ways, all because of a little precious women named "Grandma Margaret". Until the day that I get to see you again I will never let a moment go by forgetting your ways and your amazing Love. In your daily words "Remember Love conquers all"
I will continue to read the lives of the saints, and pray to graduate just for you. LOVE AND HOPE- "YOUR BABY ELLIE" and BROTHER DAL. In love and memory, stay with us. I will always miss you.

Ellie, what a beautiful, loving tribute to your beloved Grandma Margaret.
She was my Mom, Lupita's youngest sister. My Mom named me after her and, she was my Godmother. She was everything you wrote, a beautiful example of a Godly woman, loving and gentle. She will be missed but we will see her again, thanks to Jesus.
I am praying for all of you, her beloved family. We also lost our beloved Mom in April.
