I work with Bill on some of the most challenging hurdles that can happen in the walk of a professional life . We both spent many hours on the phone together, as I was the man on the ground in field. He would leave his office and come to wherever the issue was and work with the team. His work ethic kept us all going. His sense of humor and amazing words of wisdom were unparalleled. He spoke often of his Wife and both Daughters, Grandchildren with great affection. RIP Bill I have known few as good and none better. May you fly unfettered until we meet again. Dee Woodruff

I worked with Bill for 14 plus years and during that time I grew to respect and appreciate what a special individual he was. He was always there when I had an issue I needed to talk out. He always had time and didn't judge, just offered wisdom when asked. Bill was always expanding his knowledge. He was not only a brilliant chemical engineer, but had become proficient in electrical and mechanical engineering. No matter what the project was, bill always had historical data. He was a walking encyclopedia. Bill also loved his family. He would always light up when he talked about his daughters and grandchildren. He was very proud of both Lauren and Kimberly’s accomplishments and we both enjoyed talking about our grandchildren. Bill was special in my life and I will miss him greatly. God speed my friend, until we meet again. Your Friend and Colleague Howard Duckworth

Bill Skinner was a friend and mentor. I was fortunate enough to work closely with Bill for over 10+ years and there wasn't a day that went by that I was not humbled by his intelligence and work ethic. We officed next to each other and I was amazed at listening to him on phone calls transition effortlessly from English to Italian to Spanish and not miss a beat. He was also known to put his headphones on and sing (more of a humming with some words thrown in:)) while he was working on engineering drawings. Traveling to various job sites with Bill was a treat as he loved to walk through the plants chat with staff and figure out their operations then give me the down low on what they were doing. Every trip we took to a plant or development site I always came away with a little more knowledge about engineering and life.
Family meant a lot to Bill and there wasn't a day go by where he didn't speak about how proud he was of his daughters Lauren and Kimberly and their families and his wife Carol and Mother.
They broke the mold with Bill Skinner.
Captain may you rest in peace knowing that you lived the Good Life. You will be missed but you made the rest of us better with your wisdom, humor, faith and integrity.
