"Dennis, Don Minor and I were in Navy officer training as well as flight training together. We shared a house on Avalon Beach between Pensacola and Milton, FL during training and were great friends. After we received our assignments after we got our wings, we lost touch. I was on Guam and Don was on Midway and we never knew we were that close.
Don and I had been trying to find Dennis for the past 5 years to no avail. I even contacted Columbia University to try to find him.
Don lives in San Diego and I live outside Sylacauga, AL. Don made a career of the Navy making Captain. I lived in Gainesville, GA after getting out of the Navy while working for Xerox.
Cannot believe I was this close and did not find Dennis. He was a great guy and the three of us had some fun times together.
