Jeanne called me few month ago . She was expecting a call from my husband to share lunch with him while in Huston for. She found out through a mutual friend that my husband Norman Anderson passed away Dec 5th 2021. She was shocked. A healthy guy and full of energy and ideas for nueva things to do. Jeanne, invited me to go to Huston and to St. Ann Catholic Church where she was volunteering. What a shock to look in the internet That Jeanne passed away. I was searching her address to send her invitation to Norma’s memorial services this month on the 20th . I enjoyed talking with her and I got such an encouragement from her to move to Huston with my son’s family. She said she found a great place living in Huston . Thanks Jeanne for your uplifting presence. I know that you are having that missing lunch with my husband Norman. I really saddened by the news of your departure. God is with you and you are happy with Al in a beautiful place. Rest on Peace. …….Ingrid Anderson

I returned to Houston after a 3-week absence, and I couldn't figure out why Jeanne's long blue-gray boat-float was always parked in her space here at The Lamar Tower. It was never there for long because Jeanne was wielding the boat and joyously cruising it off every time you could catch a moment with her. Always headed to see family or do her thing at a charity shop. I have now learned that she has given me and my neighbors the last of her warm, beautiful smiles. I am at a rare loss for words, and I will miss her so very much. When I asked her why she moved from the Watergate in D.C. to The Lamar Tower in Houston, she said it was for love and grinned through her litany of names, ages and pictures of the family she adored. I send condolences and neighborly love to you from me and my Lamar neighbors. You had the pleasure of spending a lot more time with her and served as the center of her universe. I know how hard it must be for you now to be without her, but I am sure you will keep that extraordinary Jeanne Angulo light burning in the name of God, good works and human kindness.
Pax vobiscum, Diana Marshall, parking space #316

Jeanne was a shining light who had a way of uplifting those around her. I feel privileged to have experienced her radiance. She was always friendly and outgoing and had a special bond with children, especially my son, George. Jeanne’s love was palpable. She touched so many people. She is a beautiful example of a life well-lived. She will be missed terribly.

Jeanne was such a ray of sunshine and a ball of laughs. She was always so kind and warm and welcoming to all. I don't think she ever met a stranger or heard a bad joke. She was always joyful, even in difficult times. I'm so glad to have known her and will miss her dearly. Rest in peace, reunited with your Al forever.

Jeanne touched so many lives with her vivacious & warm personality. She made each of us feel like we were her very best friend. She always found the positive in each of us & was not shy about telling one how she felt about them. She was the sunshine at any party, event & gathering. The minute she waltzed in the room ... there was a bright light! Intelligent, witty, compassionate & just pure Fun. There is no doubt she is sporting the largest smile when she meets AL again & her creator. St. Anne Lady's GUILD & our Stitching group will not be the same . We will miss you immensely! To the family of Jeanne, we were so shocked to hear the news we had lost a sweet friend. We were neighbors on Drummond Street. We missed her and Al when they moved. It was a special treat when she came to our National Night out celebrations the last few years with her sweet dog. She will be missed and we pray for her entire family for your loss. She is with her Al now and smiling down with the beautiful smile. We loved her so much.
